Your website looks good. Is it doing its job?

A website can be visually polished, technically sound and aligned with the brand, yet still make it difficult for people to understand the business or take the next step.

For B2B organisations in particular, digital experiences often need to serve several audiences at once. A prospective customer may want to understand capabilities. A technical stakeholder may be looking for evidence of expertise. A decision-maker may simply want to know whether the organisation can solve their problem.

When those needs aren't reflected in the experience, good design can still produce a poor journey.

Start with what the user needs to accomplish

Every digital experience has a job.

It might be helping someone understand a complex service, evaluate a product, request information, complete a workflow or make a purchase decision.

The experience should make that job easier.

That requires more than visual design. Information architecture, messaging, navigation, interaction patterns, content and technology all influence whether someone can move through the experience with confidence.

Design and development need to work together

A strong design can lose its value if it becomes difficult to implement, maintain or evolve.

Similarly, technically efficient development cannot compensate for a confusing user journey.

Bringing design and development together earlier creates a stronger connection between what the experience is intended to achieve and what the technology can actually deliver.

What Claritiv looks at

We consider the experience across user needs, journeys, information architecture, content, UX, UI, brand expression, accessibility and technical requirements.

We then connect those decisions to the development environment so the final experience is both engaging for users and practical for the business to operate and evolve.

The outcome isn't simply a better-looking website or application.

It is a digital experience that helps people understand, engage and take action with less friction.
